Arany János Theatre (Arany János szí­nház)

Arany János Theatre (Arany János szí­nház) is in a sidestreet almost opposite of the Opera, but easily to be overseen. Have a look at my picture-combination for the outstanding Art Deco-architecture of this building. On the right, below you may see the unique facade that attracted my attention and so I found this place accidentially. I could go into the hall to take a picture and when I left, the porter even gave me a small booklet with more infos and lots of pics about this place. The theatre was built in 1909 by Béla Lajta. The theatre is opposite of the Opera but 1 street backwards! The adress is: Paulay Ede utca 35 Take metro M1 and leave at the “Opera”! (Posted review)
