Since Budapest is devided by Duna River and many of its great buildings lie on both banks of the river, the good idea to see them all is to take a boat or a ship tour. One, which I can recommend, is that running by “Danube Legend”. They offer two trips: “Duna Bella”, one hour trip between the splendid visions of Buda and Pest & an hour walk on Margaret Island and “Danube Legend”, view and vision show from the river by night (the Royal Palace, Parliament, Margaret Island, the bridges and other). In both trips some drinks are included in prices. On the boat there is a selection of 30 languages guidance. On the island: English, German, Hungarian (French, Spanish, Italian on request). Prices: “Dune Bella” – 3600 forints, “Danube Legend” – 4200 forints (1 euro is about 250 forints). Departures: Budapest, 5th district, Vigadó tér – Boat Station Pier 7. Schedule: in the summer (Jul-Aug) DB – 6 times a day (11 a.m., 1.30 p.m., 2.30 p.m., 3.30 p.m., 4.30 p.m., 5.30 p.m.), DL – 3 times a day (8.15, 9, 10 p.m.). Boats goes from 15 March to the end of October (May and Sept only without 1.30 p.m. and 5.30 pm.).
