This museum is in among the best of his kind in the world. When I heard there was a temporary exhibit about flying dinosaurs I wanted to have a look. The museums history is also almost 200 years old but it is a very modern building. The temporary exhibition about the dinosaurs wasn’t that big , but very interesting. It had a lot of interactive and high standard educational material for kids and adults. I enjoyed the pictures of ‘Frans Lanting’ in king size on the wall. Fantastic. I got some books from his ”lens’ . So far the temporary surprizes. As for the steady collection I advize you to snoop around on their website There is a very interesting parth about polution and local biodiversity. A giant mammoth will catch your attention for sure and the king size ark of noah. The museum has an international character and is very up to date… so if your into natural history , make sure you got some time to spend in this museum. Free with the Budapestcard , but they charge admission for the temporary exhibits.
