Statue of Dr Jozsef Antall

Dr Jozsef Antall was the 1st Hungarian Prime minister after the transition to democracy in 1989-1990. He took great part in the political opposition in the communist era. After leading the country for 3 years he died due to his serious medical condition in December 1993. The statue is near the southern entrance of the castle, near the Rondella, where Váralja utca (street) starts.
